Purpose and characteristics

Propylene, as one of the main raw materials of organic synthesis industry, is widely used in the synthesis of organic products. Because most of the catalysts for subsequent synthesis are usually composed of precious metals, or the amount is very small (generally ppm level), they are particularly sensitive to sulfur and chlorine. A little sulfur and chlorine in the raw materials can lead to poisoning and deactivation.

Hdl-1 catalyst is a COS hydrolysis catalyst which can be used at normal and low temperature with active alumina as support and several special active components added. The activity stability of the catalyst is obviously better than that of the conventional active alumina alkaline hydrolysis agent. The operation in series with Desulfurizer at room temperature can remove the micro amount of H2S, cos, CS2 and other sulfides in liquid-phase propylene, and protect the normal operation of post sequence synthesis catalyst. The reaction is as follows:

The catalyst has high activity. It reacts at room temperature or low temperature. Due to the large chemical adsorption potential of the surface, a large number of sulfides in propylene, such as H2S, CS2, CH3SH, cos, can interact with the electron acceptor center on the surface of active alumina to form surface compounds, such as sulfonates, sulfates, thiosulfates and thiocarboxylates.

The catalyst can not only hydrolyze organic sulfides, adsorb various sulfides and form stable compounds with their surfaces, but also remove chlorides such as HCI and cyanide. The 500 hour activity test showed that hdl-1 catalyst can remove more than 90% of the chlorine in liquid phase propylene, and the chlorine capacity of the top catalyst was 0.6% (weight).

After treated with hdl-1 catalyst and Desulfurizer at room temperature, the content of s in liquid propylene is less than 0.1ppm, and the service life of catalyst is more than 1.0 years.

Driving and parking

1. When starting up hdl-1 catalyst unit, all outlet valves shall be closed first, and then the inlet valve of liquid-phase crude propylene shall be opened to boost the pressure at the rate of 0.5MPa every 10 minutes.

2. When the pressure is balanced with the feed pressure, the outlet valve of the device can be opened slowly and operated at 1 / 4 full load for 4 hours. During this period, the sulfur content at the analysis outlet shall not be greater than 0.1ppm.

3. After the H2S content at the outlet of the unit is qualified, gradually increase the load to 1 / 2 of the full load, and then transfer to the full load operation after stabilizing for 3-5 hours.

4. Avoid large fluctuation of pressure and load as much as possible in the process of use, so as not to affect the service life of catalyst

5. During shutdown, the feed valve shall be closed first, and the outlet valve shall be closed after the pressure of the device drops, so as to isolate the device from the system.

6. The adsorption rate of hdl-1 catalyst is very good under pressure, but partial desorption will occur during pressure reduction. Therefore, when stopping and pressure relief, attention shall be paid to prevent the sulfide desorbed from being introduced into the post system (the unit shall be equipped with recovery and vent pipelines).

Packaging, storage and transportation

The iron bucket or cardboard bucket is lined with two layers of plastic bags, with a net weight of 50kg per barrel. Hdl-1 catalyst shall be sealed, waterproof and moisture-proof, and it is not allowed to contact with other chemicals. During transportation, it is necessary to avoid falling, rolling and impact of packaging barrel. Sealed storage for 3-5 years does not affect its activity, it can be used as usual.

       用途及特点
      丙烯作为有机合成工业的一种主要原料广泛用于合成有机产品,由于多数后序合成催化剂常或由贵金属组成,或者用量甚微(一般为ppm级),因而对硫、氯特别敏感,原料中稍含硫、氯,即能引起中毒而失活。
        HDL-1型催化剂系以活性氧化铝为载体、添加几种特殊活性组份,可在常、低温下使用的COS水解催化剂。该催化剂的活性稳定性明显优于常规活性氧 化铝浸碱的水解剂。与常温脱硫剂串联操作,能将液相丙烯中微量H2S、COS、CS2等硫化物脱除干净,保护后序合成催化剂正常运转。其反应如下:

           该催化剂活性很高.它是在室温或低温条件下进行反应的,由于表面具有很大的化学吸附势,大量丙烯中的硫化物如H2S、CS2、CH3SH、COS等可与活性氧化铝表面的电子接受中心相互作用,生成表面化合物,诸如磺酸盐,硫酸盐,硫代硫酸盐和硫代羧酸盐等。

      该催化剂不仅能水解有机硫化物,吸附各种硫化物并与其表面生成比较稳定的化合物,而且还能脱除氯化物如HCI及氰化物等。500小时活性考核表明,HDL-1催化剂能除去液相丙烯中90%以上的氯,其顶部催化剂氯容达0.6%(重量)。

    经HDL-1催化剂与常温脱硫剂处理后,液态丙烯中含S<0.1ppm,催化剂寿命1.0年以上。

      开车与停车
      1、HDL-1型催化剂装置开车时,应先关闭一切出口阀门,后开启液相粗丙烯进口阀门,以每10分钟0.5Mpa的升压速率升压。
      2、待压力与进料压力平衡时,方可缓缓打开装置出口阀门,以1/4全负荷运转4小时,此期间分析出口含硫量应不大于0.1ppm。
      3、装置出口H2S含量合格后,逐步加大负荷到1/2全负荷,稳定3-5小时后过渡至全负荷运转。
      4、使用过程中尽量避免压力及负荷的大幅度波动,以防影响催化剂的使用寿命.
      5、停车时应先关进料阀门,待装置压力出现压力下降趋势后再关闭出口阀门,使装置与系统隔离。
      6、HDL-1型催化剂加压下吸附率甚佳,但减压时会发生部份解吸,因而停车卸压时,须要注意防止解吸的硫化物导入后系统(装置应配有回收、放空管路)。

       包装贮藏与运输
      铁桶或纸板桶内衬两层塑料袋,每桶净重50kg。HDL-1型催化剂应密闭包装,防水和防潮,不允许与其它化学品接触.运输过程中应尽量避免包装桶摔滚和撞击。密封贮存3-5年并不影响其活性,可照常使用。
